Ascent Video
Hello Friends,
I have been so busy doing so many things, yet I have shared so little on this blog! I have completed my third piece for "Gus," and I am hard at work on the fourth. He seems to be very happy with the results. Needless to say, writing orchestration takes up a whole lot of the creative brainpower and time, hence the overwhelming silence on this end. Sorry about that. I just updated the sound card on my system, and hope to have some of my own music to share with you again soon.
Here is something a bit different for you... Christina and I, otherwise known as Ascent, made a homemade video for one of our songs. I think it came out quite well, especially considering the limited resources at our disposal. Christina's amazing acting skills are what makes this great. Our first video ever! Check it out:

Great video, great performance, great song. Not sure what the acting skills are that you reference, but both you and Christina looked good, the video editing was quite good, and I like the use of black and white photography. One question though: didn’t this song originally have slightly less mandolin?

Thank you. Actually, at one time, the whole world had slightly less mandolin(s). Aren't you glad that's no longer the case?
